Who we are
Expreso Cata Tours was born from a family with more than fifty years in transport.
Expreso Cata Tours S.A.C. was founded on May 20, 2021 by the Campos family to offer comfortable and safe passenger transport on the Cusco–Puerto Maldonado route.
The company was created to generate employment and contribute to the national economy, backed by the family’s experience in the sector and its commitment to responsible transport.
History
From heavy freight
to passenger transport
The family’s experience on the roads of central and eastern Peru is the foundation of today’s company.
Heavy freight from Carhuamayo
The family begins operating on the Lima–Pucallpa route with an 8-ton Dodge truck.
Volvo trucks to the east
The fleet grows with Volvo trucks to serve the needs of eastern Peru.
Transportes Carhuamayo
The family enters passenger transport and later returns to focusing only on heavy freight.
Expreso Cata Tours is founded
The Campos family founds the company to connect Cusco and Puerto Maldonado with double-decker buses.
